The technician installs the refrigerator on site. The installation of the refrigerator is often not done accurately enough to pre-install the Kamat. Therefore, the Kamat runner hinge must "synchronise" with the K-hinge on site. This is only possible if the Kamat is installed after the refrigerator has been installed.

The Kamat is designed as a runner hinge that moves the decorative door in the extension above or below the refrigerator with the same movement as the refrigerator hinges. It does not increase the permissible loading capacity specified by the refrigerator manufacturer.
