Does using the height adjustment influence the function of soft-closing/soft-opening and lift-off guard?

The height adjustment is completely decoupled from the damper and the lift-off guard. The height adjsutment of a door does not influence the interfaces lift-off guard and activator-to-damping.

Note: only the damper base adapter, which is used to mount the soft-closing/soft-opening unit to the runner part is influenced by the individual height adjustment. If it is not easy to close the clip of the damper, the height adjustment needs to be lowered accordingly and can be readjusted afterwards.

How do I change the door offset?

In the outer guiding part of the rear most door an elevating screw is integrated to change the door affset between 0 mm (flush opening) and 50 mm.

Note: in order to have complete flush opening of doors the cabinet construction needs to fit to this requirement (e.g. no protruding side panels).

How do I change the door overlay?

The door overlay of max. 25 mm can be changed by finding an individual position of the end stops inside the running and guiding profile (change of C measurement).

Caution: if passe-partout-frames/frame constructions are coming along with the cabinet, please commence a closing test first and reduce the door overlay to minimise damages to doors and frame.

How do I customise and install the cover profile of the front most door?

The TopLine XL plastic cover profile is used for covering the runner parts of the front most door. The delivery status of 2.000 mm length (inside profile set and sold separately) can be cut to individual lengths.

Following formula is important for cutting the profile:

length cover profile = door width - 5 mm

The profile can be lacquered according the individual colour scheme of the door or cabinet. The cover profile can be easily clipped into the designated slots in the runner parts.

For this the clips can be positioned in a flexible way - according the runner part positions on the door.

The catalogues show a door overlapping of 50 mm as a standard. Is this value binding or can it be changed in specific applications?

This value is a recommendation and an example. For the case of aluminium or wooden framed doors these door types need a minimum frame width of 50 mm. The overlapping of doors can be reduced to 0 mm, if needed.

The clearance between damper and running profile is too narrow and parts collide and make noise.

One possible reason is a deflecting running profile.

The solution for this is the use of the reinforced running profile (LA 10664). If this is still not enough, the cabinet construction needs to be optimised.

The fast assembly function of the doors by clipping the guidings into the guiding profile does not work.

Please first check the installation position of the integrated clips. The guiding wheels need to be clipped out before pushing the doors into the guiding profile. If this still does not work, please check the level of height adjustment and lower the level whenever needed to improve the space between the guiding wheel and the guiding profile. After door assembly the height can be adjusted to the required level again (see height adjustment facility in the installation manual).

The lift-off guard touches the running profile track and makes noise.

The position of the guiding part on the door is too low.

It is important to maintain the fixed measurement of 40 mm (lower edge bottom panel to lower door edge), otherwise the system will not work.

What is soft-colliding and where do I need it for?

The soft-colliding function is integrated in the guiding part of the front most door, which is positioned in the center of the cabinet. If two doors are opened at the same time the soft-colliding will buffer the force to lower collision noises.

With which bore diameter do aluminium framed doors need to be predrilled?

Aluminium framed doors need to be predrilled with 2.5 mm bore diameter.

Please note the permanent 5 mm drilling requirements as part of the TopLine XL drilling pattern for positioning the guiding parts.
